The main inspirational source of the city hall interiors was the reconstructed neo-renaissance building with an extensive stucco decoration. Our attempt to achieve a symbiosis of the past and presence led us to use visual means of contemporary design with historical quotations; at the same time, it influenced the color of paint, the choice of materials and lamps and the entire concept of lighting as well as the use of ornamental decorations which became the key motif of the whole interior, including the graphic design of orientational system of the building.
