The renovation of the central space of the Novodvorská housing estate is based on the principle of connecting the square with its surrounding by means of concrete platforms. These “panels” enable to eliminate the height diference and evoke the gradual descent of the terrain. As such, they provide a new spatial experience to the users and their steps can be used for sitting. The project is based on the concept of the city square. Completed Phase 1 – swimming pool, sculpture and surroundings.
